What you will do:
This role is an essential part of launching the marketing function and our strategic efforts to reposition the company and drive a repeatable logo acquisition process. You will be an essential part (alongside other marketing channels) of driving the quantity and quality of web traffic to our site. 

Who you are:
• You understand it's not just about quantity of traffic but also quality, and you know how to get both
• Each time you deploy paid ads, you think about the obvious audiences but also are constantly searching for previously undiscovered audiences
• You are a master at optimising for search and know it is a key way to drive web site performance
• Rapid testing, identifying lessons and quickly improving is second nature
• Everyday begins with data, and you use it to drive your strategy and plans 

Key responsibilities:
• Understand go-to-market strategy and how paids ads can generate a sales qualified leads
• Own the creation and execution of paid ads across channels (e.g. LinkedIn, Google,YouTube)
• Develop and manage an SEO/SEM strategy, based on research and our go-to-market strategy
• Working with other marketing team members 
• Help the rest of the team deploy the approved SEO/SEM strategy, especially working with our content and web developer leads
• Measure, track and report on key statistics, and analyze results
• Share lessons and messaging that is working in our paid ads with colleagues
• Manage contractors and multiple projects, as necessary

Key requirements

• 2+ years experience running paid ad campaigns and optimising SEO/SEM
• Experience running ads and SEO on a global scale
• Experience with analytics platforms, like Google Analytics
• Ability to manage and prioritise multiple projects simultaneously
• Willingness to learn about new marketing channels and strategies, and work in a fast-paced startup environment
• Excellent Excel skills, communication, and presentation skills

Bonus points (but not required):
• If you have experience in this role at a startup / rapidly growing company
• SaaS industry experience
• Can speak and write in French and/or German
